Not worth it. Don't buy!
The fibers don't fit well into the base so they aren't falling symmetrically. I really can't use it because they all fall to one side and it looks odd. It was also very difficult to get the battery into the base.

Arrived damaged.
The fiber-optics arrived bent in one direction and even after many attempts to get them to flower out, they just all flopped to one side. We didn't have time to get a new one, but I suspect this might be a common issue for this product.

2 of the 6 Mini UFO lamps were defective. Fiber optic bends to one side.
I placed an order for 6 mini UFO lamps, unfortunately 2 of the 6 were defective, the fiber optic would bend to one side, making it fall over & not fan out like an umbrella. Thank You Oriental Trading to be so quick to replace these two items. We really like these mini UFO lamps. We are using them for this years 2K17 Prom as table decorations. Happy Customer

I loved the lamps but they were so light they were blowing off tables so I didn’t use them there gave them as gifts.

Don't buy this product!
These mini UFO party lights were a disaster! Most of them came with the fiber optic fibers bent instead of straight. They were obviously packed poorly. Because of this, they were unusable. We were depending on them and, therefore, many of our tables went without centerpieces. I really need to return the defective ones for a refund.

How do you get the fibers to fan out like the picture? I have 8 of these products and it does not fan out? They just stand straight up and fall over

  • BEST ANSWER: Try using a hair dryer on a low temp to soften the fibers. You should then be able to manipulate them to the desired position.
