PERFECT STARFISH!
Ordered 24 and all arrived perfect and good sized! I am super pleased with these starfish! I will say when I tore open the plastic covering their baskets, there was a slight foul odor as many other people have mentioned, but I set them in the sun a couple of days to air out and found it not so bad. I would definitely order this again!

Starfish Smelled Horrible!
I bought them for a project not able to use them at all. I tried everything to get rid of that smell. The starfish stunk so bad I had to throw them away. The asked delivery guy said that my box had a foul odor. It's a shame because the starfish arrived in good shape,nice size just what I needed. Wasn't able to use them do to the smell!

Smelly Starfish
So other buyers mentioned that these starfish were smelly and they were right. I've had them sitting out in the sun for weeks and spray painted one. It still smells. I am hoping to paint on a coat of acrylic paint and see if that helps. Maybe using a polyurethane sealant can also alleviate the smell. These will probably still be used on my wreath but be aware that they do carry a definite fishy scent. One arrived broken so they are somewhat delicate.

Pretty, but stinky!
One of them arrived damaged with all the spikes broken off, which wasn't a big deal. They were really pretty but they SMELLED TERRIBLE! The smell was so strong, we ended up using them on tables we set up outside instead of for the food table like we originally planned.
