Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun! We had ordered one set of the "flying disks". Our kids enjoyed them so much we ordered another set so that each child would have one to play with. The other two sets were for two teachers' grandchildren!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cute party favor ! These are super lightweight, brightly colored, fun, plus they do fly well and won't do a lot of damage if they hit something. We used them as a party give-away for a kids jungle themed event. The ones we received were well-made and the kids really liked them. They're about 9 1/2" in diameter. The fabric is a very sheer synthetic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from painless play I use these with 5 year-olds, and they work very well. Since the kids don't always look before they throw, it is nice that they are soft when they hit a classmate! Kids have to be reminded not to bend them, because they can get bent out of shape easily. They also come unsewn with use, but they are economical, so buy extras.... (That's why I was buying more, plus the fact that they get lost.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great indoor activity I bought a similar "frisbee" in London and have been looking for more ever since. The English ones were collapsible and not quite so rigid but these are pretty good none the less. My eight year grandson loves them and I often play the game with him. I am so glad I have found these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from these were horrible item was found under search for a cloth frisbee. Was more like a paper plate but made with nylon. Super flimsy on appearance and touch, and does not function as a frisbee at all. Item cannot be thrown like a frisbee. ABSOLUTE JUNK. I was going to return them, but the shipping was almost as much as the item so I didn't want to bother wasting my time. I cannot believe there were any positive reviews on this product, which I had read thoroughly before purchasing. Highly, Highly disappointed in this item. I wish I would have known I could upload a video prior to completing the review so I could demonstrate how poorly they work!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I teach a healthy life syle class good for exercise A good product to promote exercise in children K through 6th grades

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent These are thin but lightweight and less likely to injure a child. They don't throw the greatest in the wind but my children still enjoyed playing with one for a little while. Bought them for my sons 6 year old bday party gift bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frisbee Unit I teach PE and after our frisbee unit I added these to my prize box. Good quality they actually fly and the kids love them. I teach in a low income area and now they have a toy to play and exercise with outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This was a great product to have for the kids at our employee family picnic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Items For Events These are great for young children that love to throw things at each other. These fly almost straight when flung but do not injure kids the way a traditional Frisbee can if it is caught with a face instead of hands. Older kids might not have as much fun but they would make good give away item in gift bags.

Questions & Answers

what is in the outer ring?

i work at an acute care psychiatric facility and inpatient clients cannot have things like say pencils because of the metal on them. I just want to make sure that this item doesn't have anything in it that clients can hurt themselves with-ie like a metal wire.
Asked by: supermomof5
It has a fine but rigid wire around the outside. The wire is what creates the tension that keeps it flat. It's inside a black binding that is sewed to the sheer fabric in the center. It's not made for heavy duty use, and it's conceivable the wire could come loose on its own, or could very easily be torn out.

Will this product fit in the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child?

I'm looking at buying these for our Packing Party for Operation Christmas Child next month. Do they bend at all for packing purposes? Thanks, Terri Baumann
Asked by: forgetaboutit
Terri, I am attaching some pictures. The disks maintain their shape with a lot of tension. There's a wire inside the black binding that keeps the the printed sheer fabric in the center very taut. Sort of like a mini trampoline. I can bent it like a taco shell, but it springs back and fights against being bent that way. I'm attaching some images where I twisted it into a very tiny shape that could be easily packed. Just know that when it springs back it could surprise someone. Very lightwight, but has some sproing. Might be best to put it inside a little transparent bag. It's 9 1/2" wide flat, and under 3 1/2" in the last picture. Picture 1 is max for taco fold. Other three are just the sequence for twisting it into small shape.
