Great addition to party
I bought two of these for my son's Kung Fu Panda birthday. It was a piece of cake to assemble and I was even able to move one loaded with cupcakes. We had to take the top piece off for blowing out the candles, but that wasn't a big deal. I would add one tip not mentioned in directions--it's faster and easier to pop out all the small pieces of cardboard that are in the slots before assembling (i.e. don't use the connecting pieces to "push" them out as you put it together...that's a waste of time).

Stunning centerpiece and play toy too!
As might be expected with die-cut foam core, not every slot lines up perfectly with each tab but I still HIGHLY recommend this piece. Assemble well in advance and use a good craft glue to hold it together. I had hoped to dismantle this piece for future use but now I'm glad I was forced to glue because it is perfect for my grandson's growing ninjago figure collection. Picks it up to carry around the house. Very impressive 8year birthdate party centerpiece--holds lots of cupcakes--quite large--top quality. Tip--buy the ridiculous ninja chopsticks, serve 25 cent ramen noodles and challenge the kids to see who can master them first. Hilarious--soon they were eating their ice cream with chopsticks.

Cute, but poorly packaged
This product is cute and helped ease the stress of decorating a cake for my sons party. It was also sturdy. Unfortunately, there is a lot of set-up required. This would have been fine if I'd been given all the necessary pieces. Each corner is made up of two pieces that fit together and then into its base. I received a couple of duplicates rather than partner pieces so there was no way to create a couple of the corners. I had to leave those corners out and turn them to the back. Not the end of the world, but I certainly would have preferred a properly packaged item.

Pieces were missing and it was too difficult to setup
I thought I would be able to open the box and maybe snap 2 or 3 pieces together but this was not the case. You needed a full instruction manual to put it together and then the actual pillars to hold the holder up were missing from the package.

Looks Great
Easy to assemble....Holds a lot more cupcakes than I thought. I bought 2 stand and had 24 cupcakes. I could have just used one stand. Comes apart pretty easy but sturdy enough that it wouldn't tip over
