1st Time Disappointed
I've never been disappointed w/anything from Oriental Trading, until now. The votive candle holders looked frosted, they weren't. The message looked embossed on the holder, they were peel & still on labels that you have to apply. The votive holder wasn't the actual shape shown & didn't properly house a standard votive candle! The bottom of the candle was approximately 1/3" to 1/2" from the inside bottom of the holder. Last min. disaster!

Bad quality
I wouldn’t use this for a fancy event. It works as a favor for a small informal event or holiday gifts. The votives were too small to hold a tea candle, it stood an inch or two above the bottom. Like others said, the words aren’t embedded. You have to carefully peel the square sticker and reattach it to the circular votive and it never looks straight. The writing was so light you could barely see it. I’m sure there’s better quality available.

Stickers
I purchased these for my sister's extremely elegant bridal shower, not knowing that they were not attached they were stickers. They look very cheap. Would not recommend for a fancy event

Do not recommend.
We chose the silver confetti dots and writing which showed up on the sample but didn’t show up at all on the frosted candle holders. The stickers (which I knew were stickers) went only part way around the holder. The frosted glass all had small scratches. We salvaged the holders since my daughters wedding is soon by cutting pretty silver leaves from vinyl on my Cricut machine to go onto the holders but didn’t get our money’s worth.

  • BEST ANSWER: You can't choose a font however; bold is not an option. When choosing a color lighter colors are harder to see against the frosted votive. I chose gold and it was barely visible

Does this not include the actual candle? And the "some assembly required" does that mean we're putting the sticker on each holder ourselves?
