The Engraving is Poor Quality
We ordered the gold colored cake serving set. First, the pros: the set is sturdy and well weighted. The server and the knife appear to be well made. Second, the cons: the engraving is shallow and not very good. The best word I can use to describe it is "weak." The depth of the engraving is so shallow that it appears sloppy and there are numerous scratches in the gold plate to the cake serving set, that it is a huge disappointment. Had I known I would not have paid $29.99 for this and would have spent 10 or 20 dollars more for a better set elsewhere. Guess what? That's exactly what I'm going to do. You get what you pay for. I will be purchasing a higher end set. Not because I am ostentatious but because I want to use this set in the future and not have any regrets about a 10 or 20 dollar savings for a cheap, inferior product. I may have had a few glasses of wine prior to writing this (which contributed to my frankness), but at the end of the day I am clearly perturbed - if not disenchanted - by the quality of the engraving. Simply put, it is POOR!

gold tone was a little too shiny-description should probably indicate bright & shiny as opposed to muted gold tone
The product was shinier than expected & the product description should indicate shiny gold as opposed to muted gold. But the product itself was of good quality & was well appreciated.
