would a 12 inch cake sit flat on this serving platter?

  • BEST ANSWER: There is a 1” lip from the base up the side, the bottom is exactly 12” across ...if you did not have to frost it while on the plate yes it would fit but it would be hard to frost down that bottom 1”However if you turned it over it would be very pretty and would fit
