bracelet
There is no good explanation as to how to finish this bracelet. Knotting it at the second end is not what the picture looks like nor would it sit correctly. i am stumped as to how to finish this bracelet.

Very Disappointedu
There were brief instructions which were not enough to figure out how to make the bracelet.

We gave up on making these - way too difficult.
We bought these to make for our class valentines (so we could dodge candy). My husband and I each tried making 1 with the instructions for over an hour before giving up. We put together playground equipment in our yard - but couldn’t do this. I even scratched the included instructions and went to YouTube and still couldn’t make them the way they were designed. Doing away with the white string made it a bit easier but we still only “finished” one that looked mediocre at best. No way could a child make these. But the quality of the materials were nice.

Way to hard
Got these for our VBS but they are way to hard to start and impossible to finish. Instructions are horrible.

Bad instructions. Unable to make
The quality of the paracord and the clasps seemed good but the instructions were very very bad. My 9 year old daughter and I tried to follow them AND then looked on YouTube for how-to videos and even those didn’t help us figure out how to use both strands. We didn’t complete even one bracelet, unfortunately. I’ve ordered many many products from Oriental Trading and none have been this poorly planned. I’ll call soon to ask for my money back.

Love it comes prepackaged
Good quality but instructions are bad. It says to thread both pieces through one end but doesn't show you how so I had to guess. At the end it says to attach the opposite end of clasp by threading the cords through the end and knotting securely but it doesn't show how again I had to guess. Ended up not looking like the picture. Maybe I'm dumb but I couldn't figure it out. Just disappointed with instructions but love the product.

1 question
When you have finished braiding, how do you tie off the end?
Patrician | May 7th, 2016
  • BEST ANSWER: I use a crochet hook to pull the ends through several cords on the back side, trim them off close to the bracelet, then melt the ends a little (with a lighter) so they don't ravel
