Very cute craft for class party.
These were very cute and fun to make! They were used as a craft for a kindergarten class party. There were a few packs were missing pieces (this was very minimal, just make sure you have a bag or two extra for spare parts) and the eyes didn't stick very easily. It was slightly more difficult than a kindergarten skill set. 1st grade or after is probably a good age. Overall, I would recommend this as the kids had fun making them and all wanted to wear them right away and jingled all the way home.

Hells Bells
The bells I ordered for first graders to make, it was much too difficult. The eyes hard hard to pull the paper off for the sticky side and they don’t stick well on the bells. The antlers are very large and hang all over. The clasps on the necklace also do not work. I wouldn’t order these again.

Hard for my six year old students
I bought this to use with my first graders. I wanted them to be able to do it on their own. It was VERY difficult for them to put in the reindeer ears (pipe cleaners) in the hole with the string already in. If not coached to put in at an angle, and to pull tightly, they could not get it in In addition, the instructions did not give an order in which to do it. It basically gave a picture, and said to make it. If not done in a certain order, things fell off, and made it hard. Not what I expected.

So cute!
We had a family Christmas party where there were MANY small children. They loved this activity so much. It was fairly easy for them to do on their own. Some adult help was required but all in all it worked out great!!

Kids Enjoyed It
Purchased this for my daughter's Christmas Party at School. The kids loved the necklace and how it turned out. They did want more directions instead of just a picture, but they figured it out. Also the nose did not stay stuck on. They turned out cute even without the nose. I will hot glue my daughter's on.

Will an adhesive be require to affix the chenille antlers to the bell? If so, would glue dots work?

  • BEST ANSWER: It looks like the antlers are wrapped around the cording; you could use glue dots to hold them better.
