Too thick for candle light to shine through?
If I put a candle inside of this jar as a center piece, will it reflect or is it too solid for the candle light to shine through the glass?

BEST ANSWER: The light would shine through on the clear parts of the jar but it would not be very bright.
Can they be used for making candles? Do you know when you will get more of the gold mercury mason jars?
