Bought these soccer balls to include in Good Samaritan Christmas Child boxes. I would suggest OT also offer a hand-held pump and needle to ship with the soccer ball. Since the soccer balls are packaged as a quantity of 6, if OT offered pumps in the same quantity, I would have one-stop shopping. There are many people who love to pack and send these boxes to deserving children around the world.

Great for OCC boxes!

We bought 3 sets of the soccer balls for OCC boxes. Great purchase and very happy with them. Wish these came with pumps but was able to purchase the pumps in bulk from the dollar tree website.

I am going to make this purchase based on further research

I was searching for the size of these soccer balls and didn't get an adequate answer, because the description only gives the diameter, not the circumference and weight. I researched to find what size an 8" diameter ball would be. If my research is correct, I believe it would be considered a size 4. Hope this helps others. Here is what I found. "Ball Size 4: Circumference: 25''-26'' (63.5 - 66 cm) Diameter: 8''-8.3'' (20.5 - 21 cm) Radius: 4''-4.15'' (10 - 10.5 cm) Weight: 11-13 oz (310-270 g) Air Pressure: 8.5-15.6 PSI 0.6-1.1 bar Use for: Size 4 balls are used for players between the ages of 8 and 11 (U-8, U-9, U-10 and U-11). Size 4 balls are also used by adult players in futsal and indoor football (note that the ball material are different for these balls). Size 4 balls are also often used for recreational soccer/football by adults in smaller fields." Based on these findings, I am going to purchase these balls. I like that they are deflated, because they are going to be packed in a suitcase to get them to their destination.

These aren't REAL soccer balls!

I could be the one mistaken, but I thought a real soccer ball was stitched all over the ball. These are smooth (although seemingly thick walled) and I'm really hoping they will hold up to being kicked a lot. I won't know the outcome because I'm sending them off in shoe boxes for kids living in poverty overseas.

I am thinking of using these as centerpieces for my wedding. Possibly placing them on to of clear vases. Would this be a god size?

BEST ANSWER: These are 8" soccer balls. They may be too large depending on the size of your centerpiece.

I am looking for a 7-8 inch ball that is made of a soft rubber for INDOOR play not the hard rubber like basketballs. Can anyone help?

BEST ANSWER: I think this are the hard rubber. I haven't inflated any but they feel hard to me.
