What are the dimensions of the top tier? I would like to use the top tier to place a small cake on top and the bottom for cupcakes. Is it sturdy enough to hold me a small cake on top?

BEST ANSWER: The top platform is 9.25” square. It can probably hold up to an 8” round or square cake comfortably. The entire thing is very sturdy and Can support a good amount of weight (cake wise), as long as it’s centered well.

I’m wondering the size of the holes? I want to try to use this to hold party favors the clear tubes full of gum balls and I can’t tell if they will fall through the holes or not..... thanks!
