Use Super Glue
Yes, as some of the other reviews have mentioned, you attach the paper pony mane to a plastic headband using a tiny, round, plastic circle that fits into a groove on the headband. To save your sanity, and to prevent heartbreak later on, just put a dot of super glue on the little plastic piece before you stick it in the hole. That way, if the connection isn't tight enough (10 out of 12 of mine were just fine), the glue will hold and you won't have to redo them. Assemble these ahead of time; they're not meant for little hands to put together.

not what i expected
I did not realize that the design attached to the headband with a tiny plastic piece. These did not stay on well at all, and I feel this was a complete waste of money.

Hard to assemble
Some of the headbands for hard to snap into that little hole. And some of the crown parts of the headband were missing. So I was unable to get the quantity of 12 that I really need it. I had to improvise.

Wont stay together.
The pieced that hold the mane to the headband don't hold - they wont stay. Glad I didn't pay a high price.

Was okay, doesn't fit to well tho.
It was okay didn't fit good on anyone's head not even my 1 year old. But it was fun just to have something different than the regular party hats.

Impossible to put together
Bought two bags of these headbands. Out of one bag, I was only able to put one together. The rest did not fit together or stay together. I now have two packs of headbands that need to be thrown away. Total waste of money!

Is this something that the kids can put together?
jan1404 | September 7th, 2017
  • BEST ANSWER: No, you should assemble it ahead of time. The plastic piece is very small and will most certainly get lost and no extras were supplied. I recommend using a dab of super glue to make sure they stay together upon assembly.

Do you make this item for adults?
jime | May 16th, 2015
  • BEST ANSWER: It's a typical plastic headband, so it would probably fit adults. I'd make it ahead of time for anyone just because the pieces are so small and if they get lost, there are no extras and no other way to fit it together.
