Creative and Practical!
We invite our children to decorate their pencil pouches with permanent marker. Inserting a sheet of wax paper into the bag prevents marker seepage through to the other side.

"canvas" pencil case
I was excited to find these pencil cases, thinking them perfect for my art students. I was disappointed when they arrived. The fabric is not canvas. You might call it muslin. It is not sturdy but extremely flimsy. The zippers were OK. I will be returning them as they are not workable as a pencil case. Maybe you could store facial tissue in them instead. Or cotton balls. They might work for that.

it could be done in many ways and used in many ways
We used this in VBS the children enjoyed painting it even the teen enjoyed it. it was something they could use after VBS. some are planning to use it for school, so they put their name on it. it was good for all ages. The small kids used markers instead of paint and this worked also. and I had one kid ask for a football sticker. so they did all kinds of things with these cases, thank you for the idea.

Perfect Size - Some Flaws
The pencil pouches were the perfect size for my project, but there were a few of them that didn't have zippers! Unfortunately I didn't check the box until it was too late. I was able to use the others though! Great product, just make sure you open immediately and check for flawed pouches.

Not the best quality
These pencil cases were below average in quality. We ordered 3 packs, and in 2 of them, I had to throw away one because of a broken zipper. The material was okay, but not amazing. In a pinch, or for light use, these are fine. But, wouldn't be my first choice again.

Canvas pencil case, other uses
I used these for a Mother's day gift. The children used their finger prints to make flowers on one side and they wrote I love my mom on the other side. I used acrylic paint and permanent markers. Great present! Easy project. Good product!
