great for parties
The pinta holds 8lbs of candy and toys. It did not tear or break anywhere while mounting it. It held up to its prior reviews. I would purchase this again for a party for my childern.

Broke too quickly
I thought this pinata looked great for my kids' party, but it split open after only a couple of whacks. I think the issue was that, because it's a sphere, it is assembled as two pieces with a seam right at the center of the pinata.

It broke on the first hit!
This pinata is cute but small. It broke off the string on the first hit. We re-tied it using the fill hole but it broke off the rope again. I guess if you don't fill it up it'll be lighter but that means it would only hold enough candy for about a 10 kid party. Of course the kids weren't too disappointed when we just poured out the candy.

Great looking pinata
This was bought for a 5 year old birthday party. It held up for each of 12 kids to hit it 3 times. I was very impressed with the quality and amount of candy and toys it held. Great buy!

It did not look like the picture. It was just a red line and not stiches on the baseball.

Strong Pinata
We used a metal baseball bat and the pinata held up long enough for 20 boys to have a turn or two.

Great item!
We had a Subway Series 2nd Bday for our son, and this was great! I am a Mets fan and my husband is a Yankee fan. We purchased the napkins and dinner plates from both the Yankees and the Mets. Great decorations and the guests went crazy!
