too much work for the adult
The idea was to have 10-year-old girls making these to give as Valentines. The actual result was mom spending her time unbending the stupid safety pins in order to get the beads onto the correct side of the pin and then trying to bend the pins back into an approximation of their original shape.
At least one bead was missing or broken from every pack, usually the silver flower beads.

When you decorate the pins the beads end up on the side that you need to slide through the material you are securing it to. So, after you decorate the pins you can't actually utilize the pin as it is designed. I also didn't think the beads fit on properly and the pins didn't close.

cheep quality
I purchased these to do for an art project in my classroom. The pins were of poor quality, and the beads were very cheap also. When some of them were put together the pin was to short to clip shut. There were a little over half that worked properly.
Kids were disappointed.

Beaded Bear Charm Pin
Used as craft for fourth graders - for Mother's Day. Was good for boys/girls -- simple enough to be completed in time allotted. Good value.

cute project
i bought these to give out at my son's school for valentine's day. everyone loved them, and they were so easy to make. i liked how they came individually wrapped; i gave them out in the same packaging. my 4 year old enjoyed helping mommy. i recommend any of the beaded charm pin kits.

Cute item
These pins were very cute and all of the kids loved them. I used them for a youth night at church. The girls made them to wear themselves, the boys made them and gave them to their mothers. The only problem was getting the beads around the curve in the pin. We straightened out the pins and then they slid right on.

easy craft - hard to pin on after
Bought this product for a 3rd grade Valentines party. It was great for the kids. they all enjoyed doing this craft and the beads were pretty good. they were not perfect silver but overall not too bad. however, to pin the bear on your shirt after wards, there was no pin room left for that. So the pin has to be straightened out and the beads moved to the far side of the pin. It was easy enough to do but the directions did not mention it.
