This activity investigates whether the soy or corn ingredients in various processed foods contain a genetic modification using a modern application of genetic engineering. Kit equips a class of 25 students with materials for 25 PCR reactions. Kit includes 1 year access to digital resources that support instruction and 1 teacher’s manual with reproducible student guide. Note: Kit and perishable components ship separately and may arrive on different days, and we recommend ordering kit to arrive 1 month before performing lab.
