Great for the Cost
I bought these for my 6-year-old daughter's Castle Party and they worked great! The children enjoyed filling them with the colored sand. They were the perfect size. After the children finished filling them with sand, we hot glued the cap and added a gold string to make it an ornament for them to hang. If you read the description that includes they are 2 - 2 1/2 inches, you really can't complain about the size.

Not what I expected!
I purchased these bottles along with the sand art kit and was very disappointed with the size and quaility of the bottles. They were a cute design, but would loved it if they were much larger. The kids would have filled them within 2 minutes, I had to go the local craft stire and purchase all new sand art bottles.

Very disappointing purchase!
I purchased these for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. I sent them back before the party even occurred. I was very disappointed with the size and the quality of the bottles. I am appreciative of the fact that Oriental Trading Co. would accept a return, but it was disappointing nonetheless. I would definitely not recommend this product to a friend.

Super small
The dimensions are not fully in the description. They are about 2" tall but only 3/4" wide. I believed they were 2" by 2,1/2"... A single table spoon of sand fills them more then half way. The plastic is not exactly clear, it's cloudy, like a plastic milk bottle. The top price I would pay for these would be maybe $3 for 12. Not worth the $6.50...It is a nice idea but they are way to small for anyone looking to spend more then a minute or two with kids doing a project. They tip over easily because the funnel is just as big as the bottle. Trying to instruct 2-5yr olds not to put a full spoon of sand in the funnel so they can have multiple colors is not easy. Had to try dumping sand back out to give them a chance to use diferent colors. Next time I'm going to try using clear glass bottles and the kids can actually get a bottle like they would at a county fair.

Tiny, but still managed.
It's hard to keep younger children engaged in any one activity for a longer period of time so these worked well. They were tiny and filled quickly. We allowed everyone to make more then one so they got a few treasures if they wanted. We hot glue gunned the tops on once we were done filling them so that messes would not be made later with the sand. The parents helped their kids make them and had fun doing it. That is what mattered. Tiny.. yes. A group of entertained toddlers.. priceless.
