Very difficult to assemble..
designed for old kids, we used kits with 4yr old. suggest two sticks to hold together cross,we used toothpicks some of the kits where missing them. use a good wood glue of strong bonding glue. School glue and glue sticks did not hold. Our kids loved the small size spools. Maybe you could sell some in bulk. We would surely purchase them for our kids imaginary craft skills day.

Many missing parts!
I was so excited to order these and have them as a Palm Sunday project for my young class. The day they arrived, I decided to put one together as a demo for the kids. Out of the twelve kits, only 8 were complete kits. Many missing parts, vague instructions, I ended up putting them together myself, and am just going to give them to my students as a gift. There would be no way six students could put these together in an hour.

Too difficult
This craft is just way too difficult unless you have time to let part of it dry and then add the next section----it says it is EASY---It is not easy for children at all! Would never recommend it for children

Cute Craft
This craft was so cute when all put together. Kids had fun putting them together. I found that a glue gun worked the most effectively to glue the flower piece at the bottom. Tacky glue worked great as well to glue the spools together. I would recommend this product to other sunday school teachers.

Nice craft, but tricky for a fast-paced event
We (my Sunday school class) chose this cross craft kit for an Easter party where we weren't sure how many children were going to attend. We wanted the children to have something nice to take home from the party. I went to the craft store to make sure I had good, fast-drying glue ready, as well as glue dots to use for the flowers at the bottom. We probably ended up making about 40 of the crosses, and would just have the children come back to pick them up so they could dry for a while. We needed one adult to help assemble the main part of the cross, and another to help piece the rest of it together. I decided this was a beautiful craft once it was completed, but it would be better with a smaller group of focused kids (i.e. in a Sunday school classroom), rather than the large, fast-paced event where we were trying to complete it.

Great Craft
As a children's church teacher I had purchased this for a sunday school lesson. My title was,"Jesus loves the children" he, died for them and rose again. The children loved the craft, and it served as a reminder that at the cross Jesus loves all the little children . I tried the glue dots, but it didn't do the craft justice, it looked sloppy, so I used Beacons 3-in-1 Advanced craft glue. Dries fast and clear and unlike super glue, it washes off young hands. It was a great craft that they loved.

I found this hard to stay together with glue. I guess I should have used glue dots - I'll try that next time. The end result was good. The cloth draped over the cross was a little stiff and didn't lay nicely. Had to glue it in place.
