Great craft item!
I have used these beads on a couple of occasions now and they are great. The kids really like them and they have multiple uses, not just as beads...they can also be used as do-dads to embellish craft projects. They are light weight so they don't weigh projects down much. Definitely worth the price.

Great for Young Cow Pokes!
My sister & I teach First Graders at Sunday School. They love crafts and we try to find interesting things for them to do that doesn't cost lots and doesn't make a mess. The cowboy foam beads fit the bill and can be combined with other materials for a variety of safe, clean, inexpensive crafts.

As Described
I am using these beads inside handmade Hidden Treasure/I Spy bags. They work quite nicely for this use. However they are very lightweight and the holes are a bit small which may make them a better item for a little older children.

Good Craft Item
I purchased this item for my daughter to use on her Girl Scout Gold Award. The event was held at a horse rescue and the beads were used to decorate horse shoes. They were glued on the horseshoes and not used as beads. The horseshoes looked really cute and the girls had a lot of fun.

VBS Crafts
The kids loved all the shapes, but the holes were smaller then expected and most of the smaller children struggled threading the beads. We were using that strechy string though. Maybe fishing line would have been a better choice.

these are the best beads the kids in my preschool class will love them..only a little disappointed that some of the printing was off but im OK with that its not too many!

Great price and TONS of beads
I bought these for my daughter's 5th birthday party, which was horse themed. I knew they would be small and that the holes for threading would be small. So, we just used a yarn needle that's plastic and has a dull point. We also used the jute rope for a more western look. I looked everywhere at stores and couldn't find anything like them anywhere else. The price was great and there were a ton of beads. Plus, since they were in primary colors they worked well for both boys & girls.

What it claims to be
We used these foam beads at a Western Themed Girl Scout camporee. We used an 8mm gauge stretchy string, tied a sheriff star as the anchor and then had the girls string them to make bracelets. The adults then tied them together at the ends, and voila we all wore western themed bracelets. I thought they were reasonable for little fingers, and even the older girls enjoyed them. I'd recommend and buy them again!
