did this for my son's halloween school party! turned out great!! Easy enough they did on their own. only thing is i had a couple of packages with defective trick or treat signs. just called and got replacements. used glue dots and put their name across the bottom and put the year on the left wing for a keepsake! kids loved it!!!!! would highly recomend this craft!!!

Not all the kits were complete and none of them had the hanging ribbon mentioned in the instructions. Luckily there were 12 kits and I only needed 9 so I was able to mix and match. I used chenille sticks for the hangers and that worked out. The handles for the trick-or treat bags were broken on some kits and the lettering was off-centered or faded so we didn't use any of them. Overall a good idea but you need to have back-up supplies. The parts are not self adhesive so you need glue. Hot glue works well as long as the kids are old enough.

good Keepsake
I love the idea of any keepsake that can be brought out any holiday and display the size of your child. We used this for a very large holiday event. We found tacky glue to work better than Elmer's when we glued foam to foam, Elmer's to work better for the neck ribbon. Unfortunately, as stated in other reviews, there is not ribbon for hanging the craft as pictured.

Not adhesive, missing parts
The ghost looks cute.
The idea of kids tracing their foot sounds fun. Here the positive feedback ends.
I ordered 2 dozen. Out of 24 - I got 21.5.
If you are willing to try glue or glue gun - give it a try (=extra work!)
1) There's no ribbon - although on the instructions it says "attach ribbon etc"(= extra expenses, extra work!)
2) The white foam squares, although they came with no holes this time, same thickness, and are big enough even for grown up feet size 9 and smaller, have a stamp on one side, so you need to tell the kids to put their foot on THAT side to trace (=extra instructions!)
3) 2 ghosts were missing cheeks (=extra work! - I cut them out of left over pink foam, they were tiny)
4) Bows are starched and squashed, hard to make it look like a bow (=extra work!)
5) 1 eye was missing the black eye part (one eyed ghost?)
6) Some cheeks were not printed all the way through, had to be cut out with scissors.(=extra work!)
I read the other reviews and still ordered it, thinking that I can make it work... I also ordered some glue dots that saved the project.
It's not worth returning them now, I have a party in 2 days and the kids will probably have a blast. BUT I had to put glue dots to every piece (14 dots per set), by 21 ghosts - you know what I mean. Just to make it easy for the kids to assemble. So I put the glue dot parts on pieces of wax paper and hope it will work. For a 5 minute project, I still haven't found ribbon and spent an hour sorting through the missing parts to make 21 sets out of 24. One bag only had 11 sets, by the way. Disappointing. And the cheeks do look cute, despite what the other customer said.
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE ADHESIVE!

Glade I got this!
I got this for my 19m daughter to help make to give to family... since she can't help out a whole lot this was a perfect project for us and was really simple to put together.

Nice project for 5/6 year olds
Easy project for the girls to do. No ribbons included and no spare items included. White foam to trace foot is not all the same thickness, some where very thin. 1 piece had a hole in it but was able to side pass with the foot. I added a clothespin to the back of the ghost with glue. The girls loved them after they were done making them.

Happy w/ Purchase
Kits are cute. Children loved getting their feet traced and I could use tacky glue instead of glue gun so children could be more hands on.
Did not come with string to hang and some of the Trick-or-Treat wording is smeared. I didn't need all 12 so it was o.k. Looks cuter without the pink cheeks...consider removing them from the kits.
Overall, fun project children can do mostly by themselves.

CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE THEM
I haven't put them together yet but they look really simple and fun. My 3 year old will have a fun helping as well.
