"Lord, Teach Me To Pray" Readers
Booklets have all the classic prayers for the Rosary
For Epiphany I had 3 of my 6th grade catechism boys dress as the 3 kings with great thrift store costumes and visit the 1st grade class to kneel before a large image of baby Jesus with Mary and Joseph, and the other 6th grade children handed out small gifts to the 1st grade children, these booklets were one of the things we handed out. These are small booklets that include are all the basic prayers that are part of the Rosary. It is a very fine way for little children to read these prayers with their parents or in class. Please give us more Catholic items, OTC. For those who don't know, "Hail Holy Queen" is the English translation of the great Latin hymn Salve Regina. It praises Mary echoing the Angel Gabriel's salutation "hail" to lowly Virgin Mary as a queen and alludes to her royal crowning in heaven as seen in the Book of Revelation (the Mother of the Lord is the woman crowned with 12 stars, clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet... the "queen mum" of Jesus our King if you will). "All generations will call her blessed" and His greatest disciple she prays for us to her divine Son our Savior.

I teach CCD for first grade children at a local catholic church. These are excellent prayer books for children and the children love them. Children can relate to the pictures, and follow along as we practice in class. They will also take these books home on the last day of class to study their prayers over the summer as they begin first communion in second grade. I highly recommend and encourage first grade CCD teachers to use the books for their children. I also encourage catholic parents that home school their children to use these books as well. These are beautiful prayers and central to our catholic faith.
