Magic Color Scratch Button Pins
These were the hit of the arts and crafts booth for the kids. The adults did some too. Very easy to use and fun for all ages.

Buttons hard to open
First, these buttons were bigger than I thought, but that is my fault for not reading the description more. The biggest problem with these buttons is how hard they are to open (to put the insert in). I ended up having to use a butter knife to pry them open and it still took me quite a bit of time. Plus, when you put the cute insert in, the button top is not clear, so it makes the colors of the inserts very muted.

Magic Scratch Buttons
I purchased these buttons to use for an event with a lot of children and these worked well. I loved that they were completely self contained -- no need to have enough crayons or markers for everyone. I recommend that you purchase more than you think you need because the nature of the product means the kids can't erase their designs and we didn't have extra circles for them to scratch their designs on. The buttons are a little hard to open and we broke some pins trying to get them open. It worked best have an adult gently pry them open using stick for scratching. The broken pins were easily replaced with regular saftey pins.
