Great Product!!
Ordered this product for VBS along with some of the suncatchers offered by Oriental Trading ... would recommend both to anyone!! The paint pens are SO much better than regular paint ... much less messy and much easier to use. They were used by all classes, ages 2 through 15 and were a huge hit with all!!

It's messy and sticky and the result is pretty good.
I read through the review before take an order for my 4.5 year old son and i think all reviews helped:
1: you need to tip off a tiny lid for every pen. One of them was so hard to get ride of it.Most others are pretty easy. but still this step is something you are not prepared to do.
2: The color is really sticky, you can not wash off from hands, only scrub off (hard too) or let time handle it.
3: The liquid/color comes out too fast, thank goodness I have read r reviews and prepared some newspaper.
4: I also ordered the suncatcher butterfly , that's really nice, thanks for that review (sorry forgot the reviewer's name). and the result is really a pleasant surprise regardless all above issues.
5: As long as you are prepared , you can enjoy your pen.

ok but not up to usual OT standard
Bought these to use with my almost-3-yr-old twins, along with some sun catchers. The girls struggled at first - easy to squeeze out too much paint and it gets everywhere (wipe it off immediately! If it gets in the carpet, use resolve spray) so be prepared and wear aprons. We ended up doing this hand-over-hand and they loved it. The paint doesn't dry hard though.
(I did not have any problems with broken or leaky pens. All were still sealed and intact, and haven't leaked int he cupboard since use although I sotre them in a plastic tub just in case)

NOT kid friendly!!
Bought these to use as a craft at a family reunion. First of all, they had a horrible smell. Then, after a few minutes of use, we discovered that they do not wash off of hands or clothes. After some careful use, one exploded (an adult was using it!) and some got on the carpet - we couldn't ever get the color out. They are not at all washable, they are a sticky paint, it comes out too quickly and it's too runny, they explode, drip, and are permanent. NOT something you should ever buy for children to use. ONLY use it outside until it's dry (unfortunately it was raining and we were doing it inside.) Seriously horrible product!!

Be Prepared to Have Paint Everywhere
I purchased these along with the suncatchers thinking that they would be easy to use. The first time we started to OPEN the pens they begin to explode! We had paint everywhere! Those that we were able to use went on thick and were still sticky after they dried. The next group to do suncatchers used permanent markers and believe it or not they did better.

POOR PRODUCT
I ordered these paint pens because I thought they would be easier for the younger kids to use. However when I opened them and tried to use them they were dried up and hard as rocks. Not just one but every single pen!
Don't buy these they are a waste of money and time.

yes & no
I love the colors but not the plastic containers. Several of them were broken when i got them. I had paint everywhere. After I opened the others, they leaked out, even standing them up didnt help. I use a pallet for mine after opened.

bad containers
I bought this product for my own use and grandchildrens use. The plastic used in the containers stuck together and broke the first time I used them. The paint is very good but the pen is not a good quality product and broke right away.

Sad purchaser
These pens seemed like a great idea to use for senior who are doing crafts because it is easier for them to use than paints, but these pens leak after they are opened. We lost more than half the paint to leakage and they clogged up and were difficult to use. I am very disappointed.

Worst purchase
I purchase these markers to do a craft with the girl scouts. When you squeezed them they exploded at the ends. They were horrible. I thought it would be alot neater then the paint. Boy was I wrong. :0(
