Everything was perfect!
Not sure what previous oustomers received, but my kazoos were in perfect condition, nothing falling off or chipping. I could play the Star Spangled Banner with little to no effort - although I am an experienced kazooist. I can't wait to see the reaction when we hand these out on Valentine's Day to a local adult sports team.

Great purchase for a wedding celebration.
The metallic color add pizazz. The color was more of a light pink versus a deep magenta fuschia color that I expected. The hearts also add a nice touch and make these appropriate for a wedding celebration. Once we learned how to play the kazoo we were pleased that they will work well for our wedding. I typed up instructions for how to "play" a kazoo. Do not blow into the kazoo. You will not get a sound and think the kazoos don't work. They do. You have to hum into it or say a word and they work well. These add fun and color to your event.

Not your typical kazoo
These do not work at all. Directions said to HUM but since they are not individually wrapped with directions it's impossible to convey this to everyone when you give them away to a classroom full of kids.

Not worth the money
We could not get these to work at all. Wish I had read the previous reviews before buying. We threw them all out. They look cute though.

Failed to make noise
Unfortunately I didn't realize until after these were given to children for a class party that they don't make any noise! Tried several myself and got nothing but blowing wind and the sound of my own hum.

Didn't Work
This kazoos didn't work. We were told if we hum and not blow and they would work. My son was able to get it to work but I wasn't. The class made a contest of them - "who can get the kazoos to work".
