Kids loved it
Great for VBS rainforest theme. Easy enough for 2nd-6th grade craft, We did however after reading other reviews hot glued the pipe cleaners down for extra durability, but not sure if it was necessary. You can turn the sign around and write your own message too.

Very Disappointed
Thought it would be a fun easy craft to do. Ended up being very time consuming having to do the step by step instructions. In some instances, the sticker came off sooner than it should have. The furry legs and arms were very difficult to stick well to the body. Feet, hands and legs were falling off afterwards. We tried to fix them when the kids went to play so it didn't look like a cheesy favor when they left.

Good with alternative assembly
I purchased these monkeys to use as a decoration for VBS. We didn't use the door hanger parts or the signs. To keep the legs, arms and tails on the monkeys I poke the pipe cleaners through the body and bent the pipe cleaners so they would stay in place. I had no problems with the adhesive. Very Cute!

Fell Apart instantly!
I used this craft with 25 students when learning about monkeys and apes. We did them piece by piece, handing out 1-3 at a time and giving very specific instructions. There were 4 adults for the 25 students and it was still CHAOS. Some parts were confusing, the pipe cleaners for instance are only help on by the sticky piece above it, and nothing is strong enough. Within minutes of attaching everything, it fell apart. The kids went to play and adults tried to re-glue everything and let it sit. Still, when they left everything fell apart. It was a DISASTER!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS. If I had not already made them with kids, I would have send them back.

Adhesive does not hold
I sampled with 2 of these (made them myself) which took quite a bit of time - following directions given - and the next morning, MANY pieces had fallen off. Tried again with same result!

Really Disappointed
I was so excited for this monkey door hanger. I bought it along with a couple other crafts to do a birthday party. I was disappointed because they didn't stay together. I thought I was prepared for that by buying the special foam glue but it didn't work either. Also, two of the main green foam pieces were damaged and were not usable for guests. All this after part of my order was missing. I was really disappointed.

just ok
i bought this product to hang on vines, at my sons first birthday. we're having a monkey party. they are really cute and i think they will be a good gift for the kids to take home. but they do not stick well at all. i had to buy some super glue and that fixed the problem. so that would be they only downfall.

Not worth the money
Used the craft for VBS. Difficult to put together. Adhesive on back doesn't stick well. Falls apart soon after being put together. Using tape and staples help, doesn't look cute anymore though. All in all not worth the money!
