New Shower Favor
Purchased this item to play games at a baby shower; let the guests keep them as a party favor too. I had the pencils engraved with the "new addition's" name so the guests would remember the reason we came together for a special gathering. At the time of this review, the pencils haven't been used so I can't comment of the writing quality, but the appearance of the pencils is very nice.

Cute but engraving not as shown
The pencils are really cute except for the fact that the engraving doesn't show up like it shows in the picture. There is no filler, it is just the pencil/wood color and you don't really notice it.

they will do in a pinch
These pencils came un-sharpened and were extremely difficult to sharpen to an even point. The point where the seam is would not sharpen. In addition to that, you have to remove so much material to get the lead exposed that you end up shaving off part of the " It's a Girl" graphic. The personalization was poor quality. But they were inexpensive so I guess you do get what you pay for after all.

Disappointed.
Theres a line going through the pencil (like ink smear) and the personalized writing is going in the opposite direction of the "Its a girl" message =/
