OK
I bought these and did not use them for our event. They are super cute, but they had too many steps to use in a pumpkin decorating area. Definately a craft that involves glue and a little more time than our party invovled.

Dissapointed
I bought this because my son loves pirates. I was planning on using them for a pumpkin decorating party. I was so glad I opened the packages a few days before because there was glueing and drying time required. Also the 'dread's for the pirate all have to be individually braided. The biggest dissapointment was when I went to put the beads on the ends of the dreads, the holes were not even big enough to get one piece of yarn through, let alone 3, which the instructions say. So I can't even use them. This is definetly a craft that needs lots of time and patience.

Fun
The moms and kids loved that they could decorate a pumpkin and it will not rot before Halloween.

Okay
I bought these for my daughter's 6th grade class party...these were fine for this age group only complaint would be that some of the skeleton faces were printed upside down...so that was a bummer because we didn't have enough for all of the boys.

frustrating assembly
Most parts of the kit are fine, but the hair requires braiding of yarn and sliding beads onto the ends. The holes in the beads are too small, and the yarn doesn't fit onto them. I called customer service to complain about the quality, and was very pleased with their response. Even though disappointed with this product, I will still be a repeat customer.

Most popular of the pumpkin decorating kits
I buy hundreds of these kits every year and this one is always the most popular with the kids - girls and boys. The only thing I don't like about them is that the hats usually fall off before the kids get out the door.

Pirate Pumpkins
These decorations are difficult to put together and were frustrating for the children. I think if you had a very small group of older children with helpers it would be fine, but with mixed aged groups and helpers the other kits were much easier. The children became very frustrated with these, although they were cute.

Cute
These were really cute, but hard to put together. I didn't realize that you needed glue. It was difficult to put together for the kids. I think with a small number of kids with the adults helping, it can come out nice, but with 30 kids 5 and under, it got a little crazy. The plain ones were so much easier. I should have gotten more of those kind.
