Great Kindergarten Craft
I bought this for a craft for my sons Kindergarten Halloween Class. We had 10 min stations. The kids loved it. Using the eraser end of the pencil was much too complicated for their little fingers. So, they just crumpled up the paper and made their designs. Some of the kids were very meticulous, others weren't, but all had fun. Make sure you show them how to crumple up the tissue paper, otherwise they will just put it on flat and won't have enough room to make their faces. We stapled the ribbon on the stem instead of gluing, which was a little tricky. You really don't even need the ribbon unless you are planning on hanging it somewhere. All in all a great craft for the price and enjoyment.

somewhat difficult for little hands to manage
Peeling off the outer layer to expose the sticky paper was too difficult for 8 year olds, so I had to start each one. Most figured out how to wrap the end of a pencil and placed the tissue correctly, but several had trouble keeping extra tissue off the sticky surface. Probably doing the same activity with glue sticks would have been better.

The pumpkins are great.
The craft takes time and younger children can be "bored" before they complete the project. The finished product looks great and are proudly displayed.

LoveD it ....kept them busy and was simple enough for all age groups to do.

Not so sticky
Looked like a great activity for Sunday School class of 4th and 5th graders. Although it was shipped 10/21, we received it 10/30- so no time to alter our project. Turns out the 'adhesive' on the cardboard pumpkins was old, so some parts of the pumpkin were sticky and some were not. The kids had to use glue to stick the tissue paper to the pumpkins. Very dissapointing.

Halloween School Craft
I did this craft with a 5th grade class & they all
loved it. It was a little time consuming & tidius, but they all got through it without complaint. If done according to the instructions they look very nice.

Perfect!
I have nothing but good things to say about this craft! I asked my 2nd and 3rd grade children to make samples the night before their classroom Halloween parties so I could show the class the finished product and see how long it took for them to complete it - and how much fun it was. Both my kids enjoyed making their pumpkin and were proud of their finished project. They did stop using the eraser end of the pencil to put the tiisue on once they got the hang of it and just crumpled it up and stuck it on which worked great too. Be sure to roll up long, hangling sleeves though or they'll get stuck while they work. Great fun and a great price! A++.

more than enough tissue paper. used for preschool aged kids. for those who weren't able to place the tissue paper on by wrapping it around the edge of a pencil they simply crumbled it up & stuck it on. everyone thought the craft was cute. completing the face first w/ black was easiest, then you just fill in the rest.
