If you need eggs and it is not Easter time these are wonderful. They don't come apart and when you drop them nothing happens. I used these in a Jack and the Beanstalk play for our golden eggs.

Not Happy At All!!!
We bought this to support an Easter Blood Drive. As you squeeze the egg, while donating your blood, it totally squeezes down to nothing!!! Definitely not for adult hands. Possiblty better for childrens hands.

Fun, new, Easter egg hunt goodie
I put on community Easter egg hunts and try to come up with several new things every year. We used these on the field and those who found them got little prizes in exchange. Golden eggs :-) The parents actually would come up and ask what they looked like to make sure that their kids found one. Because they are not your typical golden plastic egg. We gave some away to parents as relaxation thingy. No cracks, all squishy as advertized, will reuse for some fun activity next year.

Smells
These smelled like chemicals. Parents did not want their kids to have them since they smelled toxic!

OK but not great
We were disappointed in these. Not shiny, with visible seams, they look cheap. They do seem to be holding up to repeated squishing and tossing OK, so I guess from that perspective the quality is good; they just aren't very pretty.

Pricey but favorable
I hid a dozen of these eggs with the 2,000 candy-filled eggs for our church Easter egg hunt, and the kids were delighted to find the golden eggs. Considered by the kids to be more "valuable" than the plastic eggs, many of the children enjoyed tossing them back and forth. I also kept several to give to my students in my (real) job as a special ed teacher to help ease anxiety and figeting during classtime. They are small enough for a child to keep in his pocket, but big enough he wouldn't be tempted to put it in his mouth.

Golden Mud
Color is less than gold, more muddy, and not shiny like the picture. Soft and squishable. Nice, depending on what you want to use them for. For hunts for up to 2nd graders, great, but not very golden. Plastic golden ones are very bright gold. These aren't. These could be 2nd place or 3rd place golden eggs, and use the brighter plastic ones for first place.
