Great Purchase
This craft kept my girls busy for hours on end. I am so glad I purchased this as I will purchase others like this for future fun. My girls also highly recommend this craft.

Good value!
I purchased these for a beach party in December for my son's third grade class! They were a hit with the kids and the finished products looked amazing. One child didn't want flowers so he peeled all the backing off and made a tie die picture. I appreciated that the sand was in individual bags.

Must have been a problem
I ordered this and the Winter Wonderland set. The products were night and day. This set didn't have the precut areas highlighted in black like the other set so the kids couldn't tell where to peel the sticker. I ordered 2 of these sets and both came kinda warped and bent and when you tried to use them the sand didn't stick.

Not a generous amount of sand
These are a great "time filler" if you are looking for a short activity. They took about 15-20 minutes each to complete for an 8 year old group of girls. There is not a very generous amount of each color of sand, just barely enough to get the project done sparsely. The glue is not great, you have to press the sand in lightly to the stickered page. I would say these were great if they had more of each color of sand, for young ones that are wasteful, this would not go over very well without additional sand. The tools that OTC offers were a huge help in controlling where the sand went. And the art trays they sell were essential for keeping this from being one of the messiest crafts we have done.

Time consuming, but cute
These are time consuming and messy as you would expect sand to be, but they are so cute!! I have done one so far with each of my girls (2 and 4 years old) and they both loved it. We had to split it up into 2 different art sessions as it did take time, but they loved the beautiful colors of sand and decorating the different pieces. The sand sticks pretty well and there is way more sand than you need. In fact, we used one set of sand for 2 pictures, so you have way more than you need. Some of the stickers are so small they are hard to get off and a few times they weren't separated very well so fine details were a bit lost, but for my little ones, they didn't know the difference. It is definitely an outside project, but I was impressed with the sand actually sticking, the vivid colors, and the amount of sand given with each set.

Great Generational Activity
I purchase this as an activity for Family Day at the Nursing Home. Great bonding for the Elders and youth. Must be clearful pealing off the top layer or lose sticky part. We had glue stick for when this happened - helped a little. Remember to put your darkest color first. We will probably incorporate as a regular activity. We also brought the key rings to fill which were a big hit too.

Great craft for birthday party
We used these for my daughter's eighth birthday party and got a lot of comments from other moms about how neat they were. The age range of kids who used them was 3-11 and they all seemed to enjoy the craft. Of course we made them outside since it is sand.
