not for the microwave
put the mug in the microwave to heat water for tea, like i normally do, and burned my hand taking in out! nice red mark for the day. the handle was HOT! that's never happened with any other mug i've put in the microwave.

Okay, but...
I bought this for my daughter's Sunday school teachers. The mugs are a great size and feel good when held. However, the text on the both mugs were slightly crooked. I called the customer service number and they were very helpful and they offered multiple options to right the error including: sending me two new mugs, refund the money, or send a giftcard for the amount to be used on a future purchase. All of these options did not require me to send the original mugs back.
