Woven Easter Basket Craft Kit
Fun, easy and definately cute!
My daughter and I made these for all my Grandkids. We had so much fun. We made each one just a bit different. We did have some packaging and damage issues, but any resourceful crafter could use the extra pieces included and left over scraps to handle the needed repairs. They all came out beautifully. This craft is easy enough for a 4 year old with parent guidence

Cute finished product if the assembler is an older child or adult.
Purchased this craft for younger children ages 5-8. Disappointed that it would have required additional support for this age group to complete. The foam strips to weave through basket holes were not uniform in width and, in length, they were way too short!!!! Had to use 2 foam strips to complete one row and then had to discard half of the second strip because two strips together were too long! Some of the strips were wider and had to be threaded through on an angle. The basket was too slippery to glue the rabbit and bows to. Ended up tying the bows on but that made them really small and awkward-looking. Disappointed that the pink nose was not peel-n-stick and it covered most of the entire pre-printed face. Also disappointed that white liquid school glue took a while to dry to stick the foam pieces together. Had assumed from the catalog picture that the foam pieces were peel-n-stick. This craft took me an hour to finally complete. Did not end up using it and will have to use it for pieces along the way in other crafts.

We did this with kindergarten children and they loved it! For those that took longer it was nice that they had a basket to fill even if they weren't completely done with it.

The baskets were not quite as good quality as the last set I had, having black smudges on some of them. Also, I don't like the divided color strips for weaving around the basket. Getting the strips to stay put that the beginning and the end are the hardest parts, so adding in double attachments each was a pain. Not as pleased with these as I was with the valentines baskets

I used this with a group of kids grade five and younger. It worked great for everyone. Some of the kindergarten aged kids did this fine, but others did not have the coordination. I think I would recommend this for second grade and up.
