beautiful lantern
I'm going to use this for my litlle girl birthday ,they are really good quality, the price are great, i'm happy with the lantern..

okay
This item was festive & I'm glad the lanterns are made of plastic & not paper. The one problem was that the lanterns did not stay on the bulb/wire attachment. I had to tape each lantern so that it wouldn't fall off.

Great addition for an asian-inspired party
I bought 2 sets, and they provided just enough lighting with the lights off, although I probably would have gone with buying 2 more. The lights added a great ambiance to my Chinese New Year-themed birthday party.

Poor quality
The price was good, but when they arrived I had 3 broken lanterns out of 4 boxes. Plus when hanging the plastic lanterns they fell off the wire real easy, had to tape them so they would stay on.

Falls Apart
While these set the theme and look beautiful they were difficult to assemble. I had to use a paper clip in each to hold the lights inside the lantern; some of the lids wouldn't hold the lantern on and we had them falling off during the party when a breeze would pick up. I suppose one could glue them together but then you couldn't replace the lights once they burn out. I am very disappointed in the quality. Wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

WAY TO GO OTC!
OTC must have listened to their customers, because these came completely assembled! They were perfect & every light worked. The lights are just regular Christmas tree type lights, so if one is out, you can easily replace it. I loved them so much I am ordering 2 more stings. They are a little on the small side, about the size of a grapefruit, but that is about what I was expecting. Over all, very pleased!
