The instructions
The ducks I thought were rubber but instead they are hard. There was no instruction sheet to say how to play the game.

Created a new duck game
Loved matching with grandkids (ages 12 & 9) We made a duck "chart" listing $$ worth for each numbered duck match . (eg #1=1 cent, 5 =25 cents etc & #10 was worth 50 cents! We all agreed on the amount for each number. each person had one turn per round. We played until all ducks were matched The person who had the most matches (not the most money) would win an additional $1.00!Can play with play money or real money. Really fun when we added water in our big roaster & ducks moved.

Fun for lots of ages
The grandkids and Granddad had a ball playing with the matching ducks. You can match numbers, or shapes, or colors on the bottoms of the ducks. The three year old joined right in.

Disappointed.
Quick shipping, arrived sooner than expected. I bought one set, and one of the ducks did not float. As for the ducks that did float, they tipped over so easily that you have to keep setting them upright. When I called OTC for a refund, I quickly reached a representative who kindly processed my request.

What kind of "plastic" are these ducks made from? Are they like traditional rubber ducks or are they more like inflatable beach ball material?

  • BEST ANSWER: The ducks are a hard plastic similar to the weighted ducks. They are not rubbery or soft like the traditional rubber ducks or the inflatable beach ball material.

do children choose the ducks with a fishing pole/magnet? or do they choose with their hands?

  • BEST ANSWER: These duckies are hand chosen for the game. The child gets to pick 2 and see if they can make a match. Each duckie has a number listed on the bottom of it.
