Fun toy
My children are 5 and 6 years old. I carry a few of these in my purse to let them play with at the doctors office, waiting for food at the resturant, on longer car trips, or anywere they may need to play nicely. I'm not sure if they ever "beat" the puzzle, but they like to play with them....I've been using then for about 4mts and I've gotten no complaints!

Worst Purchase Ever
There is no quality in this product. The plastic puzzle pieces in the cubes are warped allowing the metal balls to get stuck. As a math teacher, I bought them hoping students would need to use their critical thinking skills but my students were insulted by how easy they were. I teach grades 5 through 12.

Waste of money
Bought these as silly toys for a birthday party. Many aren't usable - balls are stuck behind playing surface or constantly fall behind. Very poor quality.

Used for show and tell
I used these as a take home toy for show and tell and the concept was cute. However, when I got the box, some of them had been shaken up so much the little metal bags had been shaken to where you couldn't even play the games. I would say about 8 were out of wack straight out of the box. After messing with them we were able to correct 4 leaving 4 that were unplayable. You could shake them around for some noise, but the game pieces were not where they needed to be to play the game and nothing we did could undo the setting from shipment. So if your down to needing EXACTLY 24 of something I'd get something else.. luckily I only needed 18!

Bought this for 7yr old daughter goody bags. Surprisingly, held the attention of the kids. Unfortunately, 3-4 were broken when they arrived and I anticipate the rest will follow suit.

The glitter cube mind-teasers are AWFUL!
I would NOT recommend these to anyone and will never purchase them again. Half the items are missing internal pieces and have broken/cracked lids.
These are definitely not worth the time or money.

Happy
I ordered these for my brother and his wife who are good at things like this. They are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but over all I love them they are so cute. I know some say the stuff insde was dislodged, but as I looked at it I think that maybe it is supposed to be like that. They are mind-teasers not meant to be easy. My 2 years old played with one forver just because it made noise...a good long lasting product

great for all age kids
i bought several sets and used to keep these in a container for my teenagers to play with when their friends were over .. they would keep busy for hours, trading them back and forth, trying to beat each others time .. (these were one of the few 'toys' that they would look for when they came over and didn't involve game controllers) .. my younger kids would use them as stacking blocks and rattles .. these would keep them busy for hours also .. i thought they were worth the money and have not seen them in stores or on other sites ..

defective parts
I was disappointed that many of the cubes were defective--missing silver balls, inside parts not secure, lopsided, cut too small, etc. so I didn't get a full set of working models. They are challenging and fun, however, so I wish I had the complete set.

Pretty good
Not for kids - need too much dexterity, and the first part of each puzzle is to figure out what you're supposed to try to do (get the hoops over the peg-posts, get all the little balls on one side of a divider, and so on). Not for youngsters, as they take too much dexterity. Good for teens, and even adult stocking-stuffers, especially for those who already like these kinds of puzzles and will have a sense of what to do with them. If instructions came with them, this would be a very good deal (but still not for young kids - try 12 and up).
