Kids will love it!
It encourages kids to bring their Bible every week because they take pride in the cover that they have made themselves. Great way to teach 5-9 yr olds a good habit.

Makes a good Bible Cover
Size: these covers easily held a Bible sized: 8 5/8" long by 5 5/8" wide by 1 7/16" thick. The handles did not fall off of any covers in my order of 50. Prep work: the covers are folded-up and mashed together smaller plastic bags for shipping. Allocate time to snip off tags and threads, and to quickly press out creases with an iron. These canvas covers can be decorated with sharpies or fabric markers, but the sharpies can bleed out and blur the written letters. Fabric markers are superior. Self-adhesive foam shapes did stick to the canvas, but could peel off easily. I recommend having glue ready for some foam pieces. The foam letters 57/2006 and 57/2010 adhered very well to the canvas - no glue needed. Glitter glue went on well.

Decent
When these arrived I was a little disappointed in how thin they were, but the kids loved decorating them

Can't wait to do these with the kids
They are not the highest quality but I'm so excited to do these with the kids at VBS. Many of the kids do not have Bibles. They will all have one at the end of VBS and a cover designed by them!

Good Quality
Just what I was looking for. Perfect craft for VBS. Customer Service Rep was very helpful too.

Dissatisfied
I felt the quality of the product was not in keeping with other purchases I have made in the past. The covers were extremely thin and very small.

Canvas Bible covers
We used this as a craft for VBS. I was worried that many of the kids would "roll their eyes" since it wasn't an intense, fancy craft. I was pleasantly surprised by the response to it! The canvas material is a little thin, but you get what you pay for. I tested fabric markers and Sharpie brand markers and both wrote on this material without bleeding on the strings of the fabric (something we've had happen in the past with other projects).

Good value
We used these for VBS. We purchased iron-on transfer paper from Office Depot, and the transfers took really well to the canvas. Then the kids decorated the rest of them with OT's fabric markers. The kids loved them & they turned out great! A big hit, and for the price, a great value.
