Good value for the amount
I purchased these for favors in a goody bag and was pleasantly surprised with them. I liked the size, which enabled us to put a few in each average goody bag along with plenty of other items. I wasn't sure if they'd be a hit with the kids, ages 4-8, but they all loved them! Once one kid took theirs out and starting blowing it, they all joined in. They were all constructed well, and held up to the use I saw. I was glad they had an item that had enough in one bag too, as my son has 31 children in his class! As a bonus, I used the extras to decorate some springtime and Easter items around the house.

Kid Sized!
I haven't blown every last pinwheel ofthe 72, because its kinda silly. These are great for atmosphere at a party to add a whimsical flair. Small enough for littler kids' hands to hold. Shiny enough to be fascinating. And honestly, for any party with kids, expect them to be used as swords. Big enough variety in color that I can use them for a few different parties as decorations.

Good and Bad
I picked these up for gift bags for my daughters birthday. Now, the are reallr small.... like 7- 8 inches long and the fan is a little smaller than the palm of my hand. But for smaller children that is a good thing. The colors are nice but the come collapsed for the blades of the fan are nestted (so instead of 8 fan points you really only have 4) and you can not get them to really open up (I tried for over an hour and gave up). They still work fir the nost part. I would say about 1 in 5 needs some help (plastic has not been cleaned of the extra bits, so some of them stick). Wirh a llttle efforn and goos small sissors, you can fix them. For the price they are not too bad, bbut do not expect a fiull 2 tone effect. The matallic sparkles really nicely, though.

a flashy "old reliable" for the prize box!
Given as a prize at my medical office for good behavior, the little ones clutch this in their chubby paws! its flashy and metallic, and the mini size makes it fit perfectly in the bin with other small toys. small kids have a remarkably hard time blowing hard enough (or is it the coordination of aiming the air and turning the pinwheel sideways) to make it spin..but they love it anyways. and the fact that they come in two similar colors is great when there are siblings who each need to get one, but later they will need to be able to tell them apart! As a mother and a medical provider who needs kids occupied while I take care of their mothers, it is a good choice!

Kids Only
Item is only for small children. Item was distributed at a community event. Selected because of the price and quantity. Great quantity for the price.

Somewhat diappointing
Many of these did not work and that made it frustrating for people who received them.

Sad but true
I was disappointed by the cheesy quality of these pinwheels. Although they are the only ones offered on the internet for this price, They aren't worth purchasing. I used to buy these all the time, in a larger size, from Oriental Trading, and they were fine and salable. These new ones are so tiny they barely function, and they're not as shown in the photo, the pinwheels are crammed together so that it appears there are only 4 "spokes" to the wheel, rather than 8. If you spread them yourself, they eventually pop back to the original position.

Very Tiny
Great quantity for the price. You get what you pay for. These are cheap & cheap looking. However, it did the job I needed. These tiny pinwheels popped out occasionally.

no way
These are so small and poorly made that they don't sping when you blow on them. They look like I made them at home.

Poor Quality, but Excellent Customer Service!
I ordered from Oriental Trading Company because we needed favors for two parties, so I needed a large quantities. If you just want them as a decoration to look at, but not to use, these are very cute. Of 72, only 28 of them worked consistently. Most would just freeze up, usually without spinning around one full turn. Some wouldn't spin at all. If you moved them with your hand they would unstick, but only for another half spin around. Just to be clear, I don't mean they would just need to be unstuck occasionally. Most did not spin around even one entire revolution. While this was very frustrating with a party right around the corner, I gave them an overall 3 star rating because of Oriental Trading Company's OUTSTANDING Customer Service. When I called and explained the situation to the representative he was very apologetic and offered to send out another order of them, with overnight shipping so they would arrive in time, free of charge. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful. While altogether of the two orders only a total of 60 worked, I ended up with as many as I needed. So while I technically didn't get the 72 working pieces, I think it was still a good price.
