cute, but...
The largest soldier won't close all the way. The outer piece fits so tightly, I can't open and close it. I tried to sand it down to make it fit, but to no avail. They are very cute, nicely painted, and if not for the outer piece not fitting it would be nice quality. I contacted customer service and as usual they took care of it immediately! I'm due to receive the replacement tomorrow; hoping for a better fit this time, because they really do look nice. I love that they are wood instead of cheap plastic!

Came stuck together
These arrived so stuck together not even my very handy husband could seperate them. Not only disappointed by that, I guess I should have read the discription better that the largest one is only 5" tall. Complete waste of money!

Heed the Warnings
I should have heeded the warnings....this item is substandard. What a disappointment!
1) The largest one does not fit well together - at all
2) The other 3 tops were completely stuck inside of one another - I spent 15 minutes prying them out of each other - WITH A KNIFE. Needless to say, I scratched up the paint a good deal and I cracked one, but there was no way to get them out otherwise. It's almost like they were put together before the paint dried.
I, too, would ask for a refund, but I'm afraid I will get another just like it. At least I won't worry about my child scratching the paint or breaking it.
Do yourself a favor, and heed the warnings. Otherwise, you will be kicking yourself like I did.

Very poor quality
The dolls do not nest well. The largest one was too big so it wouldn't stand well on it's base: it kept tipping over. Another one inside was too small for it's base so you really had to jam it on the base but then it would get stuck. $10 was pretty steep to begin with but the quality made the price even worse. I wouldn't have given it any stars but I had to select at least one.

little upset
it would not open one was stuck to the other i bought it for my dad being he likes them. but i asked for my money back i was afraid to get another one like it
