Great Instruments for SMALL kids!
We had live music at our party, and the kids got to join in. Many of the kids chose these maracas and were very happy with them! :)

not a good purchase
Some of them fell apart the first day they were used.

maracas
I have ordered great maracas from Oriental before. These wooden maracas fell apart the first time my class used them. I was very disappointed. I would order them for decoration only.....not for use.

Too Small for what I wanted
Kids liked the Maracas I had last time so I thought these would be a good deal. Should have checked the size out - Way too small!

Very Poor Quality
The picture really doesn't represent the actual items received. The paint was not uniformed and had drip marks on the finisth. The seam of the wood where the top meets the handle showed through and looked like it was cracked. You can barely hear anything when you shake it and the size is really small. I bought it for my son's music theme party to put in the gift bags and I"m embarrassed to givesomething of such poor quality even if it's for 5 year olds!

for little hands
These are wonderful for tiny hands - children of 2-3-4 years old absolutely love them! Even my 6-y.olds still enjoy them very much! The fact that they don't make a loud noise is a plus, in my opinion. You don't want little ones spoiling their musical hearing! These are perfect to shake with or without the music for small hands! I have used them for 7 years!!! They hold up excellent!!! Paint came off only when my kids chewed on them... i wonder what kind of paint was used... other than that - love them!!!

Painted Maracas
They are a lot smaller than shown in the pictures. You could hardly hear the sound of the maracas when you shake it.

junk!
The paint comes off if your hands are wet. They also don't make very much sound. :(
