Pretty good, just what I needed.
These coins may not be shiny, but it's easy to tell which coin is which based on size and color (brown or grey). Some of my learners can't count change, so these are exactly what I needed for my adult education classroom, and there are plenty of them.

Cool for School
These coins are great for using as classroom manipulatives in the classroom. Since I needed to purchase my own for my classroom, Oriental Trading saved me a lot of money compared to what the teacher supply catalogs wanted for plastic coins. Thank you, Oriental Trading!

What I expected
I purchased the coins to be used in miniature claw machines for a summer carnival for Bethany House Services, an organization that helps homeless women and their children. They are exactly what I wanted and different enough from real coins that they won't wind up disappearing.

Plastic Play coins..........COPY?
I had bought these to use in the classroom. Well....I guess I should have looked at the enlarged picture to see COPY written all over the coins, front and back. REALLY? Who'd be dumb enough to NOT KNOW these are fake? The word "copy" totally distracts from the purpose. I will not be able to use these in the classroom as a manipulative. One of the steps in identifying coins is being able to read the wording. I was very disappointed in this purchase.

This purchase was just alright
The "resolution" on the coins is pretty bad. I didn't think that I would care, but I did. The word "Copy" written over the image makes it impossible to see the engraving at all. I have to stare at it for a second to figure out which kind of coin it is. This will not be helpful for younger kids. However, it will be helpful for random coins, not necesarily American currency. It will also be helpful for bingo. Also, they are pretty small and I feel like I didn't get enough for my money's worth.

Quality is definitly not there!
I bought these for a casino party gala and they will work for random table decorations, but they are badly made and very cheesy looking.

Disappointed
I purchased these coins to add to what I already have in my classroom (I don't remember I purchased the first sets). I was disppointed about the quality of the coins. THe plastic is very thin and not sturdy. They have COPY written on both sides. I hope that I can find the other coins that I purchased becasue their quality is top notch!

Acceptable
The picture looks like they are shiny--they are not. I needed coins for Resurrection eggs & they are satisfactory.

not what i expected
i was very disappointed with this item..the quantity is great but, they are very dull, cheap, plastic looking and have "copy" imprinted on them!!! sooo disappointed with these!

Bag was torn open when they arrived, scattered all thru the rest of the order, very dull color, not what we expected.
