Washable Liquid Watercolor Set
Great for paper tie-dye.
We used these for tie-dying the paper lanterns. It was surprisingly less mess than I expected when working with 3-11 year old children. Using the eyedroppers helped, because they did not let the kids get more color than they needed. The price is a little bit high at first glance, but you can dilute the colors with water, so it goes a long way. We had about 25 people doing the craft and only used about 1/4 of each bottle. Nice variety of colors too. I especially liked that they had black and brown, because they usually get left out when dealing with watercolors.

Please be aware that this product is NOT washable. Not sure why they label it as so. We bought this for our Preschool and it stains children's skin, clothes, and even left stains on our yellow tables. Also has very leaky containers, so there is no way to not get it on yourself as well. We had to explain to parents why their children were stained. Not happy :(

Perfect for preschool!
One set of these will last a full year in our school! At first I worried about staining the tables when it spills, but I found (accidentally) that hand sanitizer gets it right out - works for dot markers too

What a mess!
We were very disappointed with these paints. The little bottles that they come in are leaky. The watery paint stains skin immediately and takes many washings and a bath to come off of skin. It stains clothing, but does seem to wash out once washed. It is not a 'child-friendly' product. It took us extra scrubbing on tables to clean it off the surface as well.

DO NOT BUY!!!
bought this paint thinking that if kids got it on hands or clothes, it would wash off like crayola washable paint. Boy was I wrong. It DOESN'T come off. My kids hands are still stained 3 days later

we made psychadelic moons at our school science carnival. Watercolors worked fine.

great for 2's on up
This is the third time that I've ordered these watercolors (although I order them individually for more/less of certain colors). We have found these tremendously useful for each classroom from the two year old's on up. Easy clean-up (except if you happen to get it on clothing...then you might be stuck) and the colors are very vibrant. Many successful projects with positive feedback from parents! We have used this for spatter painting, spray bottle painting, brush paintings, coffee filter tie-dye,color for wood "staining" (clothes pins, paint stir sticks, craft sticks), refilling washable ink pads, shaving cream marbling...you name it.
