Great pencil cases
These pencil cases are great for children to decorate on thier own. I purchased them for my daughters class and gave them out. The children ejoyed painting their names and painting their own pictures. It was a hit.

Disappointed
I purchased these pencil pouches for my kindergarten students for Christmas. I decorated them myself and filled them with a few supplies for use in the classroom. Today was their first day of using them and four of them ripped at the top at the zipper seam. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product and feel it was a waste of money.

fun to decorate
My Bible study kids are really enjoying these crafts this week for our back to school parties. They're using permanent markers as well as a glitter marker for the final work. One girl has already said she's taking hers to school this week.
The girls today did some creative work with theirs and made unique pencil cases. They put their names on them and added flowers or whatever fit their own interests.

o.k.
I purchsed a dozen for my daughters craft birthday party. I did notice that they were very thin and could easlily tear with a sharpened pencil. Overall , they had fun decorating the bags and they are good for holding markers and hair rubber bands well.

Poorly Sewn, Thin Canvas
These are an amazing concept that anyone could get excited over, but the execution of the item was done very poorly.
The canvas is very, very thin, and would not last long with sharpened pencils inside of them--which is an obvious problem, since they were primarily advertised as pencil cases when I bought them. The thin fabric makes it more difficult to decorate them, as well. I'm going to have to sew liners into each and every one of them to reinforce the bags and keep them from tearing.
Another issue is the sewing job in itself-- the stitches in the seams are about 1/16", which would be very easy to tear, if a sharp pencil tip were to slide in under one.
They are a good size, however, and hold an unsharpened pencil very nicely, and are very good for keeping markers. Overall, the design and concept are great, but the quality is very low. I would reserve these for very small children unless you're willing to put in the work to fix them up.

Super cute!!
When I first saw these I wasn't impressed but after decorating them with puffy paint they are SUPER CUTE!! Easy too!! I suggest putting wax paper in between the bags before using the paint.

Wrong Color
The quality of these were ok but the pic shows white and mine were the tan natural color. It seems that the natural canvas has a stinky odor and the white does not. I would not have ordered them if the description/photo would have accuratly described them :o(

Cheap
Cheap price, cheap quality. The canvas is so thin that if you put anything in it with a point or corner, it will easily poke through. On some bags the zippers weren't sewn on fully. We ordered close to 400 for an event, so, I guess as long as you aren't expecting them to last long or be "tough," they're a good buy.
