Not flawless but do the job.
These are great jars. I've ordered multiple times. The plastic isn't flawless. There's always some scratches/scuffs but they're not super noticeable when filled. They are the only jars I've been able to find in bulk that come with a smooth white lid. Every larger jar seems to have ribbed lids and I prefer the look of this smooth lid. I use them as sensory jars for my Etsy Shop.

Easy project for children
These items (jars,peppermint candy canes, Santa stickers) are going to grandchildren closer to the holidays. This can be an easy project for them & a small gift for teachers, friends, etc.

Uses Galore!
We've used these jars for many projects this summer (Olympic torch; Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego in the fiery furnace; prayer jars, etc.) and they are great for bubbles, buttons, and all kinds of small objects (they even fit 9 ping pong balls).

  • BEST ANSWER: The diamter of the jar is 3". From those who have purchased, the answer would be that the mason jar lids would not work.

I was wondering if these containers are air tight? I've been looking for containers for a "bug" project at work and these look close to the correct size, but I wasn't sure if they were air tight? Don't want the bugs getting out!

  • BEST ANSWER: They will close tightly, so the bugs will not escape but we do not consider them air tight.
