Did it's job
We purchased these little flags for our VBS program. Our participants were divided into groups and they made their own little momento for the day using the Scripture theme and a little something about their group. My only concern was the sharp bottoms. But I suppose for some potential uses a pointy bottom would be helpful. They were what I imagined, a small flag made of thin canvas material.

decent purchase
When I first opened up my package, I was slightly disappointed by the quality of the flags (simply because they were thinner than I had hoped and the sewing was loose on a few flags), but for the price, I really can't complain. The only negative result of the thin canvas was that the spray paint I used showed through if I sprayed it too heavily. I have heard complaints about the pointy end of the pole, but that worked perfect for me because I was sticking them in styrofoam to hold them. If it really bothers you, the sticks aren't glued in, so you can cut them or flip them around. Since they weren't previously glued, this made it easy to take off the canvas and iron/design them. I glued them when I was done just to keep them secure. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for the project
These fit our patriotic church storytime beautifully. I did snip off the sharp ends on the stick for the little ones, and I wish I had glued the flag to stick. The kids got real good at putting it back on every time it fell off!

nice, but pointy
These flags will suit our purposes well enough. However, I wish the sticks were not quite so lethally point and that they were actually attached to the flags. We'll be snipping the points off and gluing the pointy ends into the flag itself, as we don't want to deal with them coming apart repeatedly.

Fun Flag Canvas
My 3 and 4 year old students created their own flags! I used foam stickers, which didn't really stay on their own, which I knew they wouldn't, so after they were finished decorating, I added hot glue to the back of each sticker and the stickers stayed put.
These flags would be great for painting as well.
The sticks come out, so I glued them into the flags.
