Beware of small pieces
The students really enjoyed coloring and flying the kites. The only problem we find is the small parts are easily lost. Since we do not color them and assemble them in one session it's easy to loose pieces. We now cut the end off the plastic bag and store all the pieces in it until the kite has been colored and then we can put them together.

Poor Quality
Kites are very cute and the kids enjoyed decorating it. However, 50% of the kites came with missing parts so the kites were not usable.

Best crayons to use
We tried many different things to color the kites with. We have found the BEST crayons to use on the kites are the ROSEART Brand!! They came out so cute!

Not Great
It's hard color with anything other than a marker but the marker causes the black lines on the emoji drawings to rub off the kite. It looks messy so the kids were discouraged. Putting the kites together was not simple, again discouraging for the kids. Once put together, the kits might catch a wind or two. Overall, not a great purchase. I would not recommend.

Kite works but needs extra support
I bought these kites for two different age groups. 3rd and 1st grade. The sticks that need to be added do not stay in pace without extra tape to secure them. Also if you are using markers, I suggest coloring from the inside of the kite outward bc the markers tend to rub off. It needs a little time to dry. Both age groups liked them!

Nothing colors on them
I got these to use as a craft for our summer reading program. We tried a couple different kinds of markers and crayons and nothing worked. Markers smeared and crayons didn't work. The kites themselves are super cute, but not sure what you use to color on them. Would not buy again.

Great Idea and comes with string!
Purchased for Grandkids for Easter bags. Hopefully markers are ok to color them. Not sure what you would use...will find out.
