Blue part fades.. no UV protection
After being in our yard for 2 weeks, the pinwheels faded from a pretty blue and silver, to a faded green and silver. Did not last! SO disappointed. The ones from previous years did not fade.
Pinwheel on left was bought in 2018... Pinwheel on right was bought in April.

Here's the assembly that is required.
These come with the pinwheel head already assembled. They don't arrive flat. All you have to do is attach the stick.
The size of the head is about the same size as the palm of your hand (about 3").
