I am interested in the individual pieces of this post set. I need to create 2 10 ft. fake wooden beams for a prom event. Rather than using the pieces to create a split rail fence, can the rails be taped together to make 2 long beams?
What are the dimensions of the rails and posts? They look small. I'm looking for something that would be about 6-8 inches square.

BEST ANSWER: The posts and rails are separate. They measure: POSTS ARE 4" X 4" RAILS ARE 2" X 4". THE ITEM IS 40"T AND 86"W
I ordered this and it came with no instructions as to how to assemble this, how do I assemble it?
