Cute Project But Difficult Pattern
It a neat kit. Has everything you need. BUT, the pattern provided to make the dream catcher is way too difficult for children (or even adults) to tie on the string according to the instructions provided. You need to provide an easier design. I ended up doing my own design. It was also really difficult to get the beads and feather onto the short piece of string especially for a child. I had to struggle to get them tied on. Ended up using a glue gun to attach the feather.

Too difficult
I bought this dream catchers for my students. It was too difficult for even me to put together. My husband tried and it was too hard for him, too. So I'm upset that I wasted so much money when I'm on a tight teacher budget!!!

Looks beautiful but hard to do
I tried this with my grandchildren ages 6 to 11 and they found it very hard and lost interested quickly. It looks pretty in the picture.

Good Product, Fun Craft
I used this with upper elementary age girls. It was hard for some at first but by the end, they all had the hang of it. They really enjoyed making these and learning about Native American culture in the process. The directions are easy to understand.

I see in the pics that this dream catcher is made with orange, yellow, purple, and red feathers, and I was wondering if those are the only colors you get with the kit to make 1 dozen dream catchers? Or does it come with an assortment of other colors? Thank you!
