In the description it says that it's not food safe and to use wrapped candy only. Yet, the picture shows unwrapped candy inside of the container. Are these buckets washable, so I can make them "food safe" or do they rust?

  • BEST ANSWER: I put unwrapped candy in these for my daughter's party as part of the table decorations..........It was fine. I do not believe that they were made for storing or long term use with unwrapped things though.
